It was while attending the Art Students League that he began to sculpt on his own and has continued to use it as his medium of artistic expression. His work represents professional study and Natural talent. A great deal of research is done for every piece, to give it realism and authenticity. Bolinger's more vigorous works are a study in dynamic movement while his quiet pieces have a gentle sensitive quality. Truman Bolinger has been sculpting since 1968.
